As of Jan. 14, 2020, Microsoft will end support for Windows 7 and Server 2008 products. This means that Microsoft will no longer work to detect vulnerabilities or provide security patches for these operating systems. This presents a significant and exploitable risk for any business.

In 2017, a widespread attack called WannaCry exploited Microsoft Windows XP and Server 2003 users, which Microsoft ended support for in 2014. Analysts expect similar attacks following the Windows 7/Server 2008 end-of-support date, and I want to ensure you’re protected.

Let me know if you’d like to talk about how to migrate off Windows 7 or Server 2008.

Best regards,

Tracy
