Phishing emails are increasingly more common and more difficult to detect. Here’s a tip: look for misspelled words, extra characters or substituted characters. These will be in the sender’s domain name, which is the part of their email address after the “@” symbol. Often, it will look like a familiar source, like your bank or another recognizable brand. Upon closer inspection, you’ll be able to identify that things are not what they appear.
