Open Position: Senior Technical Engineer

Candidate should have significant experience in all of the following areas: server hardware architecture, virtualization, high availability technology solutions, disaster recovery planning, aligning computing strategies with business goals, storage area networking (SAN), backups, and instrumentation and monitoring of systems and equipment.

Candidate should have strong communication skills and adhere to a proactive, innovative approach to problem-solving, be self driven and goal oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a hands on technical position. Candidates must possess expertise in Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems, at least 5 years related experience and hold a MCSE, MCTS or MCITP certification. An undergraduate degree in computer science, business, or engineering is required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Consult with business owners and C-Level executives regarding technology strategy.
Plan and maintain scalable, highly available technology architectures.
Maintain strong understanding of business goals and application of supporting technology.
Troubleshoot client requests providing expertise and issue resolution.
Architect client appropriate disaster recovery plans, processes, and recovery procedures.
Develop features and enhancements to internal systems and processes.
Maintain expertise and subject knowledge on vast array of technology products and solutions.
Translate client vision into technical reality.
Track time and expenses with strong attention to detail.

Open Position: Part-time Marketing Specialist

A part-time marketing specialist position is available for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial individual who can work with minimal direction to assist in marketing communications and public relations.

Candidate must have expertise in using MS Office Suite 2003/2007. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator is helpful; able to be creative in a business context and generate marketing ideas; possess strong written and verbal communication skills; demonstrate knowledge or desire to work in the IT industry; posess an associates degree in marketing or equivalent experience and knowledge in principles, theories, and practices of marketing.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in marketing strategy and planning.
Interview and write outlines for marketing materials such as testimonials, case studies, press releases, brochures, newsletters, websites, podcasts, Twitter, Facebook, and other B2B social networking opportunities.Conduct customer quality surveys and track data.
Assist in maintaining CRM and client-related data.
Track competitive information.
Attend trade shows and other networking events to develop leads.
Perform follow up calls on various marketing campaigns.
Work with outside contractors and vendors.
